LIFE BEYOND THE BELL
We Are Building the Roadmap for What Comes Next.
Treatment ending should not mean support ending.
Pink Battalion is building toward a different model of survivorship, one that sees the whole person, not simply whether cancer can currently be found on a scan.
Because life after breast cancer may require rebuilding in places nobody warned you about.
Your body.
Your mind.
Your confidence.
Your relationships.
Your sexuality.
Your finances.
Your family.
Your faith.
Your sense of safety.
Your sense of purpose.
This is Life Beyond the Bell.
Our vision is to help build a survivorship roadmap connecting Breast Cancer Veterans and their families with education, resources, community and support in areas such as:
Fear of recurrence
Learning how to live without allowing the possibility of recurrence to become the center of every day.
Mental and emotional wellness
Creating space for anxiety, grief, trauma, identity changes and the emotional aftermath of cancer.
Physical restoration
Supporting movement, rehabilitation, strength, lymphedema needs and long-term treatment effects.
Whole-person wellness
Providing evidence-informed education around nutrition, movement, sleep, stress, metabolic health and lifestyle practices that support long-term health.
Identity, confidence & intimacy
Talking honestly about scars, body image, sexuality, menopause, relationships and learning to feel at home in your body again.
Family & caregiver support
Because the people who stood beside us were affected too.
Financial navigation
Acknowledging that cancer can leave a financial footprint long after treatment ends.
Community
Not simply gathering people who share a diagnosis, but building intentional spaces where people can tell the truth, learn, heal, grow and move forward.
We are not promising a perfect life after cancer.
We are fighting for a better-supported one.
This is how Pink Battalion is different.
Our primary lane is not creating another awareness campaign.
It is not replacing mammography.
It is not replacing research.
It is not replacing oncology.
We are focusing our attention on the bridge that comes after active treatment, the bridge too many Breast Cancer Veterans have been trying to cross without enough direction.
And we intend to help build it.
