There is no application. No preparation. No consent.
One phone call. One pathology report. One sentence, “You have breast cancer”, and suddenly you have been drafted into a battle you never asked to fight.
Then comes the language you never wanted to learn. Biopsies. Staging. Chemotherapy. Surgery. Radiation. Immunotherapy. Ports. Drains. Scans. Labs. Medications. Side effects. Hair loss. Scars. Body changes.
But breast cancer is never only a medical battle.
It can touch your mind. Your marriage. Your children. Your work. Your finances. Your sexuality. Your confidence. Your faith. Your plans for the future.
You learn how to fight because you have to.
And somewhere along the way, survival becomes the assignment.
We see the whole battle.
Pink Battalion was born from the understanding that the breast cancer experience does not fit neatly inside a treatment plan.
And while breast cancer affects women most often, breast cancer is not exclusively a woman’s disease.
